Add more sour cream and mayo in equal parts, a tablespoon at a time, until the heat level is to your liking.
Not Spicy Enough?
Blend in an additional chipotle pepper or a teaspoon of the adobo sauce from the can.
Too Thick?
Add a splash of water or lime juice and blend briefly.
Too Thin?
Add a tablespoon of mayonnaise and blend to incorporate.
Sauce Separated?
This is normal after refrigeration. Simply stir well before using.
